Having seen over 10 potential partners to work with, we were delighted we opted for Greenoaks. Everyone on their team was personable, easy to communicate with and went above and beyond to ensure we got the desired results we were after. Our friends always tell us how spectacular our finished build is and that's completely down to the team at Greenoaks. Can not recommend Eve, Shaun and the team highly enough.

We started work with Greenoak in February 2018 after meeting with several building companies. Our project was a 50m2 extension and full refurb of the existing house including rewiring and a new plumbing system. We were looking for a safe pair of hands that would produce work to a high standard and come in on budget. We moved back into our house in July and we could not be happier with the end result!

Working with the Greenoak team and their various contractors was a really good experience. Everyone we dealt with really knew their stuff, were professional, courteous and easy to get along with. The project management from Eve, and later Carol, and the foreman skills of Charlie really were a winning combination. I felt that I was regularly kept up to date with progress, consulted often to ensure things were done to our liking and the quality of the work was very high.

I have so often heard people talk about the nightmare of doing work such as ours and I can honestly say that with Greenoak at the helm, ours was a straightforward, enjoyable process.

Eve and the Greenoak team started working on our house in January 2020. We moved out and little did we know what that fateful year had in store for us, with Covid just around the corner. Charlie and the boys were pretty great at ploughing through those first few months, despite materials running short, they were at the house every day and got the main part of the extension done quickly under quite difficult circumstances. We really wanted an exposed brick wall and Charlie helped source the bricks, which we still 2 years later love as a feature to our kitchen, main living area. We also wanted to switch out the wooden panels in our staircase to glass, and they managed to do this with the main frame still in place. We are really happy with the cost effective result.

Thanks again for making our home a very special place to spend time in. We feel very lucky to be living here.

We had been aware of Greenoak Builders good reputation for a number of years before finally having the opportunity to work with the team on one of our projects. Greenoak are currently on site undertaking a large domestic extension and internal refurbishment. The project underwent a number of design changes prior to commencement on site and we have found the teams flexibility and assistance in refining the design extremely helpful.

The site is not without its complexities and it is admirable how Greenoak have approached and addressed these. The Greenoak team communicate well with the design team and clients, ensuring that there are no surprises and that expectations are met. They have created a friendly and approachable environment with a tidy and well organised site (always an indicator of a contractor on top of the project).

The quality of the workmanship is high and within the cost estimate established at the start of the project. It is a pleasure working with a team who have managed to remove the anxieties and hassle that can be involved in these types of projects. Working with Greenoak is an enjoyable experience and we look forward to undertaking further projects with the team.

We worked with the team at Greenoak to build a new garden room and a large extension and remodelling of our home from Aug 2017 to April 2018. The experience was a pleasure from start to finish, despite us living on site with our 3 children and cat throughout. Greenoak were professional, reliable, helpful and easy to work with. Eve and Alan not only closely managed the build, but kept us informed of next steps, progress and timelines and suggested ideas along the way that helped us to manage costs. Their technical expertise and guidance was invaluable. Bret, Charlie, Harry and the rest of the team were hard working and courteous, turning up every day on time and maintaining a clean and tidy environment. We are delighted with our new home and so pleased we chose to work with Greenoak.

Five years ago Greenooaks converted our garage and built a second storey extension for us. They were the best priced, very efficient and nothing was ever a problem. We also couldn't afford to move out so lived in the house during all works with 2 young children and 2 cats.

Fast forward 5 years to the current day, we have completed a full width single story extension out the back and some remodelling to the front of the house. Which included a re-located toilet, new kitchen, underfloor heating(which involved digging up an entire existing concrete floor), tiled floor, feature brick wall, bi-folds, removal of porch and much more. We were eager to use Greenoaks again, due to our positive previous experience and they didn't let us down. As with all builders - the quote can sometimes take a while to come in - but when it is in they will do their best to get the ball rolling as soon as possible.

Many people complain about hidden costs with their builders - this is not something we experienced with Greenoaks - all costs were as quoted and anything extra was always highlighted to us to make a decision on before any work proceeded.

In all building works things don't always go to plan, but Greenoaks always dealt with things positively and proactively and offered solutions that worked for us.

All tradesmen were polite, professional and very good at their work. They would always leave us feeling safe and secure and clean up after themselves. But do expect mess - it is a dirty process especially if you decide to stay living at home as we did. They work so hard to get the job down, we were astounded by what they would achieve in a day - once they get going there really is no stopping them.

Eve, who manages the company now, had taken over the family business from her father Alan when it came to our second build, so we had the pleasure of working with them both. And the same values, work ethic and customer service was experienced - both times really were a pleasure.

You hear many horror stories from home renovations, ours doesn't have one. Yes there were blips, lots of dust and many decisions we had to make whilst managing our own jobs and children - but those are things you have to expect from any build - but the solutions, support, guidance, positivity and consideration (even for our cats welfare) at all times always kept us positive and very satisfied with the work.

It is our pleasure to highly recommend Greenoaks, we are always happy to show the work that was done to our home and answer any questions potential customers may have.
