We recommend Greenoaks highly – we have used them twice and would again and again

Five years ago Greenooaks converted our garage and built a second storey extension for us. They were the best priced, very efficient and nothing was ever a problem. We also couldn't afford to move out so lived in the house during all works with 2 young children and 2 cats. Fast forward 5 years to the current day, we have completed a full width single story extension out the back and some remodelling to the front of the house. Which included a re-located toilet, new kitchen, underfloor heating(which involved digging up an entire existing concrete floor), tiled floor, feature brick wall, bi-folds, removal of porch and much more. We were eager to use Greenoaks again, due to our positive previous experience and they didn't let us down. As with all builders - the quote can sometimes take a while to come in - but when it is in they will do their best to get the ball rolling as soon as possible. Many people complain about hidden costs with their builders - this is not something we experienced with Greenoaks - all costs were as quoted and anything extra was always highlighted to us to make a decision on before any work proceeded. In all building works things don't always go to plan, but Greenoaks always dealt with things positively and proactively and offered solutions that worked for us. All tradesmen were polite, professional and very good at their work. They would always leave us feeling safe and secure and clean up after themselves. But do expect mess - it is a dirty process especially if you decide to stay living at home as we did. They work so hard to get the job down, we were astounded by what they would achieve in a day - once they get going there really is no stopping them. Eve, who manages the company now, had taken over the family business from her father Alan when it came to our second build, so we had the pleasure of working with them both. And the same values, work ethic and customer service was experienced - both times really were a pleasure. You hear many horror stories from home renovations, ours doesn't have one. Yes there were blips, lots of dust and many decisions we had to make whilst managing our own jobs and children - but those are things you have to expect from any build - but the solutions, support, guidance, positivity and consideration (even for our cats welfare) at all times always kept us positive and very satisfied with the work. It is our pleasure to highly recommend Greenoaks, we are always happy to show the work that was done to our home and answer any questions potential customers may have.
